Our seniors defeated Borrisoleigh last Friday by 2 points in a challenge match as part of the TV3 program the #ToughestTrade,   we would like to thank all those who took part.

Membership

As the U21 Football Championship is starting next Sunday V Holycross in Ragg @12 Noon, it’s important that all players pay their membership to Pat Kennedy or any Club officer this Friday in Clubhouse after Training.

National Club Draw

The Senior Club will be taking part in the Gaa National Club Draw, last year was a great success so we appeal for your support again, Tickets are €10 and are available from any Club Officer.  In addition the club will be adding its own prizes.

Juvenile Medal Presentation:

Our medal presentation will take place in Drom Community Centre on Saturday next at 7pm.

Juvenile AGM:

The AGM of the Juvenile club took place on Friday last in the clubhouse. The following officers were elected Patron:Fr Murphy, President: Larry Looby, Vice Presidents: Pakie Boyle, Sean Shanahan, Monica Butler, Chairman: Sean Hayes, Vice Chairman: Eamonn Long, Secretary: Ambrose Purcell, Treasurer: Margaret Moloney, Assistant Treasurer: Mary O’Brien. The following managers were appointed Under6: Padraig Butler, U8: Brendan Hoare, U10: Maitiu Cahill, U12: Declan Fitzpatrick, U14: Johnny Ryan, U16: TBC and Minor: John Hassett.

Harty Cup:

Congratulations to Our Ladys Templemore who defeated De La Salle Waterford in the Harty Cup semi final in Bansha on Saturday last. They now play Ard Scoil Ris in the final in a couple of weeks time.

Gaeltacht Scholarships:  

Application forms for scholarships to the Gaeltacht from Tipperary County Board are now available from Ambrose Purcell. Scholarships are confined to 2ND year, 5th year and TY students and closing date for receipt of applications is 14th of Feb.

Progressive 25 Drive:

The juvenile clubs annual progressive 25 drive takes place on Wednesday the 2nd of March in Drom Community Centre.
