The 2018 season is coming to a head with knockout hurling at the fore. Our seniors are preparing to do battle with the Swans this Saturday, the intermediates will go toe to toe again with Boherlahan in the league final on Sunday and both our U-12 teams contested their respective Mid finals this past weekend.

Senior Hurling: Our seniors will play their long awaited second group match this Saturday evening when they travel to Cashel to take on Carrick Swans. Both teams are needing a win to haul themselves back into the county championship mix. Throw in is 7pm in Cashel on Saturday evening. They had a worth while challenge match aginst Clooney / Quinn of Clare last Sunday and thank them for making the trip to The Ragg.

Intermediate Hurling: The intermediates had an impressive 3-16 to 0-13 win over Galtee Rovers last Friday evening in Drombane. This win all but guarantees top spot in their group with one match left to play against Arravale Rovers, which is scheduled for the weekend of the 26th of August. In the meantime, our intermediates are preparing for the county league final which is fixed for this Sunday in Holycross at 12pm. Boherlahan provide the opposition who we met a few weeks ago in the group stage. Best of luck to all involved this Sunday.

Junior Hurling: Our juniors are awaiting the conclusion of the quarter final matches before they find out who they play in the Mid semi final in the coming weeks.

Minor Hurling: Our minors will play Loughmore this Thursday in Templemore in the Mid Tipp semi final at 7:15. After an impressive showing in the group games, our minors will be hoping to continue their good vein of form this Thursday. Best of luck to all involved.

U-16 Hurling: Our U-16's will play Durlas Og in their refixed group game on Monday evening at 7pm in Pairc na nOg, Thurles.

U-14 Hurling: Our U-14's play Gortnahoe in the Mid semi final this Tuesday 7th, at 7pm in The Ragg.

U-12 Hurling: Last Saturday the annual staging of the U-12 Mid Finals was on in Templemore, and having both our U-12 teams involved, there was a huge Drom & Inch interest. First up in the Group 5 final, Drom & Inch faced Upperchurch. Only two points separated the sides in the group stages when they met earlier in the year. This time our players were the much better side and ran out comfortable winners in the end. Edward Callanan collected the cup on behalf of Drom & Inch. Congratulations to these young players and best of luck going forward. Our Group 2 team didn't have have the same luck. They came up against a very strong Boherlahan side that will no doubt take beating in the county championship. With only 2 points separating the sides at half time, Boherlahan took control in the second half and ran out deserving winners. The Drom & Inch players were very disappointed at the final whistle but there is no doubt these boys will be back next year to compete again. We thanks Brian Hennessy and and his management team for looking after these players this year.

Drom & Inch Supporters Club: Most of our members now know at this stage that works have commenced in Drom for the redevelopment of the new pitch and great progress has already been made. We encourage as many of our club members as possible, both home and away to get involved. We are still accepting membership for our supporters club, with all membership going towards development of our facilities in Drom & Inch. We offer a huge thank you to anyone who has donated so far.
