Management teams for the Tipperary hurling and football teams were announced on Tuesday. Despite the obvious interest in who will be joining Liam Sheedy in the senior hurling set up, there has been a Drom & Inch man named as minor hurling manager.

Paul Collins, who spent 2018 as a minor hurling selector under Tommy Dunne, has been given the reins for 2019. The Tipperary minors had a successful run this year having reclaimed the Munster crown before narrowly losing to Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi final. Paul is pictured above with Drom & Inch players, Fintan Purcell and John Campion following their Munster final win this year. Tommy Dunne has moved onto the senior panel for 2019 so Paul has been ratified as the new boss of the minor hurlers.

Along with Paul are the likes of Shane McGrath – Coach/Selector (Ballinahinch), Ger Ryan – Coach/Selector (Cappawhite), Tony Shelly – Selector (Killenaule) and Alan O’Connor – Strength & Conditioning (Cahir) who bring a wealth of experience to the table. Drom & Inch wish Paul and his team every bit of success next year.
