Our Seniors edged out Loughmore 1-16 to 0-18 in a gripping game and have now booked their place into County Quarter Final next Sunday V Kiladangan at 3.30pm in Semple Stadium. We ask all supporters to give the team their full support now as we go in search of the Dan Breen Cup once more.

Our Senior Footballers were drawn against Aherlow Gaels in the Preliminary Quarter final of the county Football championship which is due to be played on Wednesday 5th October. The winners will face Moyle Rovers in the Quarter finals.

Under 10: On Saturday last our under 10’s played in the Mick Prior tournament in Borrisoleigh. We defeated Upperchurch Drombane, drew with Holycross and lost to Borrisoleigh. In the shield we defeated Toomevara. Thanks to Borrisoleigh for inviting us into the tournament.

Under 11: On this Wednesday our under 11 play Templetuohy in the semi final of the under 11 shield in Templetuohy at 6.15. If they win this match they will be playing in the shield finals in Boherlahan on Saturday next.

Under 14: Pride of place this week goes to our under 14 hurling team who on Saturday last in Templetuohy had a fantastic hard fought win against Roscrea in the county under 14 A hurling final on a scoreline of 3 – 7 to 0 – 10. Our thanks to all the players for all their great behaviour and dedication to training throughout the year and a special word of thanks to our management team of Johnny Ryan (Manager) and his selectors Ann Campion, Seamus Kennedy, Jim Mullen and John Lillis for doing such a fantastic job in looking after them throughout the year. Well done to all.

Under 16: On Saturday next in New Inn our under 16’s play Skeheenarinky Carrick Davins in the county B under 16 hurling semi final at 2pm. Your support for our under 16’s would be greatly appreciated
